Portugal among Europe’s most dynamic hotel markets.
SiteMinder’s Hotel Booking Trends, indicates that Portugal recorded one of Europe’s most distinctive hotel performances in 2025, combining 4.8% growth in average room rates with record tourism revenues.
The same report, which presents an analysis of hotel bookings in 20 of the world’s most established destinations, indicates that Portugal once again asserted itself as the European market with the longest stays in 2025, with 41.56% of bookings corresponding to two or more nights, compared to a global average of only 26.91%.
