Quinta do Fojo is located in the place of Fojo, parish of Ancede and Ribadouro, municipality of Baião, next to the Mosteirô Railway Station and with views over the Douro River.

It was acquired by the Municipality of Baião in 1988.

The accesses and roads are made of granite cubes.

Quinta do Fojo is served through the water supply network, electricity distribution network and telephone network.

In 2000 a Camping was created inside Quinta do Fojo, with the area of ​​11.305,00 m2. It is located in Ribadouro and enjoys a privileged landscape due to its elevation under the right bank of the Douro River. It is possible to practice water sports, fishing, hiking and bicycle tours, which in this park are free.

The buildings that constitute Quinta do Fojo in light of the current PDM (Municipal Master Plan of Baião) – D.R., 2nd Series – N.º 193 of October 2, 2015 – have the following characteristics:

• Rustic area – ​​39,740.00 m2 and classified in PDM in Areas of Multiple Agricultural-Forest Use and REN; POARC in Areas of Agricultural Space and REN.
• Urban Area – ​​27,472.00 m2 and classified in the PDM in Urban Land areas, in the subcategory of Urban Building – Residential Space; POARC – in Urban Soil Areas – Residential Space.

It is 40 minutes from the city of Porto.
